Tri-Training

05/01/09 Rode to work and back home again today felt great.

AM 24.33km, 54mins 12 secs, avg 26.9km/h, max 56km/h, Cadence 80-85 avg

PM 24.23km, 50mins 33secs, avg 28.7km/h, max 65.5km/h, Cadence 85-90 avg

Felt really great to not only do some training but to get to work and back under my own steam. The pedals are great really feel the power on the up as leg lifts the pedal up as well as pushes the pedal down wish I had these  all those years ago when I used to cycle.

Bit lax on the posting, hey what can I say slack as usual.

03/01/09 a short ride of 3.01km to test out my new cleat pedals, different to flat pedals (I know stating the obvious), power on the upstroke!!! Then onto a short run 2km, legs didn’t seem to want to work after the big ride on the 02/01 (funny that). It was good to do a transition though (transition from bike to run).
