Today was a wind down ride!!! Well that was the idea till I got about 1.5km into it and felt like kicking into it. Just needed a blow out of the cobwebs and I also have a masochistic streak and wanted to feel the burn in the legs and lungs, (really it feels great) glad to say that I succeeded.
Did the reverse of the small block this afternoon; down Totara Rd, right into Whirinaki Vly Rd, right into Poutakataka Rd then right into Totara Rd.

Trying to decide at the moment wether I do the sprint tri (750m swim, 20km bike and a 4km run) or the 3-9-3 (300m swim, 9km bike and a 3km run) at Kinloch on the 08/02/2009, after the tri yesterday and the crap swim leg (didn’t feel to great after the swim) I am wondering if I want to slog out another 750m swim, but on the other hand I want to do the 20km bike and 4km run rather than the 9km bike and 3km run.
I guess that it will all depend on the amount of swimming that I can get in before then, time will tell!!!!
